Thomas Merton CSS is a Continuing Education Program promoting student success for learners over the age of 18. The program is structured in 6 six week modules throughout the school year, so students may earn up to 24 credits in a year.
This internship is to assist the Social Sciences and Humanities Teacher with the implementation of HHS4U (Families in Canada), HPD4C (Working with School Age Children and Adolescents), and HSB4U (Challenge and Change). The intern will work directly with both the classroom teacher on the development of lesson plans, assist with assessment for, as, and of learning, and provide one on one and small group assistance to students with academic writing.
Thomas Merton is a great school community and provides an excellent learning opportunity to I/S interns who are looking for an alternative education experience to add to their teaching portfolio. |
